Eugeni Quitllet Drops a New Chair for the Africa Collection

Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet has added a new upholstered armchair to his Africa collection for outdoor furniture imprint Vondom. It evolves the classic monoblock silhouette into a softer model. The chair is kept simple with an injection-moulded plastic form of the original design.
It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces and can be customized with weather-resistant fabrics. It is also joined by another textural component. Quitllet explains the design process more, "The most beautiful thing for me? To create a product that stands the test of time. That remains just as beautiful after a storm, after a bath in saltwater, after years in the sun... what could be more ecological than a product built to last?"
