Vases are quite simple objects which allows them to incorporate elaborate decoration to add to their value. It isn't of course, until you consider these Weight Vases by Decha Archjananun, that you may discover the ever-present dual function of these pretty items.

Conceived as the ideal vessels for holding fresh blossoms, such objects are actually charged with the task of both holding water to nurture the stems, and comprising a closed mouth the keep the flower arrangement standing together. In light of these two different roles, the designer of these contemporary amphoras wished that each could be addressed.

The result is a collection of five different vases composed of concrete bases to hold a couple inches of water, and standing wire frames to embrace beneath each bloom. Weight Vases by Decha Archjananun show if the exquisite qualities of flower stems, and prove to be very difficult to knock over.
