Connection-Inspired X-Shaped Vases

Robert Bronwasser's VAAX Vases Join EVERYDAY OBJECTS

Designer Robert Bronwasser has created new pieces for the EVERYDAY OBJECTS series for Dutch design imprint GOODS and one of these is the VAAX vase. The collection features various common household designs including a side table, a vase, a tray, and a shelf. The design notion behind the series is to take a mundane idea and turn it into a more exciting angle.

The VAAX vase has a typical X-shape structure and it holds a bouquet of flowers so that it nicely falls in the vase. Additionally, it is a symbolism of connection as it represents the idea that a bouquet of flowers is a favored gift of thanks or appreciation. The VAAX is made by Royal Goedewaagen, which is one of the pioneering ceramics companies in the Netherlands.
