The new Vue de monde location, designed by architecture firm Elenberg Fraser, offers patrons a theatrical dining experience that merges contemporary aesthetic with natural environmental elements. The designers were inspired by the Australian landscape -- including its waterways, plant life, animals and insects -- and thus infused the restaurant's interior with accents that drew upon these elements, such as glass sculptures that mimic the look and shape of reeds, chairs trimmed with animal fur and rocks as table decor. As the designers point out, the Vue de monde restaurant features a plethora of contradictions, contrasting sophisticated modern aesthetic with a natural wildness.
