With the help of The Herbivorous Butcher, Minneapolis-based chain Parkway Pizza now offers vegan pizzas at its three locations. While there are vegan and vegetarian pizzas that can be made with rich, flavorful vegetable toppings, the new offerings from the pizza chain offer hearty meat alternatives from The Herbivorous Butcher.
While the 'Vegavore' is topped with pepperoni, sausage, hamburger and cheese alternatives, the 'Artichicken' is a vegan pizza that promises to satisfy with its oil and garlic sauce, chicken substitute, tomatoes, artichokes, spinach and mock cheese.
