Vegan-Friendly Kids Meals

McDonald's UK Has a Vegan Happy Meal That Contains a Tasty Veggie Wrap

Vegan Happy Meals have been the latest venture by select global branches of McDonald's. While in Sweden, the fast food establishment offers a QSR kid meal with a falafel, in the United Kingdom it is swapped for a health-focused veggie wrap. The treat boasts red pesto veggie goujon and shredded lettuce which have been wrapped in a toasted tortilla. The meal has been seasoned with tomato ketchup. In addition to its vegan Happy Meal, McDonald's UK also replaced its 'Spicy Vegetable Deluxe' with 'The Spicy Veggie One.'

Both restaurant endeavors were completed with the assistance of the Altrincham-based charity The Vegetarian Society. This is a great example of how consumer preferences and their changing diet is promoting eco-conscious and cruelty-free decisions within the business environment.
