McDonald's Canada Announced the Nationwide Launch of the McVeggie™

McDonald's Canada is debuting the McVeggie™ sandwich as a permanent menu addition. This dish is set to become available at participating locations starting September 16th.

The expansion of the McVeggie™ sandwich follows a regional test market conducted in British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick, which the company reports received a highly positive consumer response. The menu item itself consists of a breaded vegetable patty incorporating a mix of carrots, green beans, zucchini, peas, soybeans, broccoli, and corn. The patty is then seasoned and served with shredded lettuce and a mayonnaise-style sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.

In addition to the McVeggie™, McDonald's Canada will also offer a spicier variant — the Spicy Habanero McVeggie — which will come with a habanero sauce.
