Oktoberfest is a fun time for all, unless you've decided to consume only vegan beer, which makes quenching your thirst quite a mission. Fortunately for vegans in the Los Angeles area this year, the first ever Vegan Oktoberfest will be held.
In addition to plenty of vegan beer, the festival is set to have tons of food options that vegans can indulge in without worry—classic Oktoberfest foods like fish and chips, pretzels, kraut, chicken and sausages will all be reinterpreted as vegan-safe options. With more than 1% of the American population adhering to a vegan diet, it's no wonder that some of the best annual festivals are now being given their own totally vegan versions.
