Product Designer and Photo Stylist Sam posted the instructions and recipe for pool float donuts on her blog Aww, Sam after being inspired by her friend and fellow blogger. In addition to unicorn donut designs, she also created flamingo and swan themed desserts.
To make your own food floaties, you start with your favorite donut, fondant and gel food coloring. You will also need a small paintbrush and toothpicks. As this is more about the look than taste, you can go with any flavor of donut.
The Instagram-friendly baked goods would be great for pool parties or to snack on while you wait for warm summer weather.
