No matter how one feels about his work (though the answer should be positive if somewhat fraught), Nicolas Cage is undeniably one of the most influential film actors of this generation, and the Umaibo Nicolasticks pay tribute to him in a distinctly Japanese way. The puffed corn snacks that are popular in Japan have been branded with the star's face in promotion for an upcoming film in which he stars.

Umaibo Nicolasticks are only available in Japan, which might be part of the reason why Cage agreed to have his face on the packaging. The snacks are promoting the Japanese release of 'Army of One', which debuted in North America in 2016. It is now being released in the far east as 'Emono wa bin Laden', which directly translates to 'Bin Laden is My Prey.'
