Letti is a Brazilian dairy brand that has decided to switch from the "traditional white, opaque high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles" to transparent PET bottles for their dairy products. According to the brand, this change in packaging is a "response to consumers' desire for freshness."
The transparent PET bottles to be used by Letti have a one-liter yield and are designed by Amcor. New features include a simple new bottle cap system and for some products, like the Lettico A2 fermented milk bottle, the foil seal barrier is eliminated.
In addition, the transparent PET bottles have some protective features to optimize the freshness of products. This includes a thicker wall to avoid deformation, as well as a 38-mm finish and an ultraviolet blocker to protect the contents of each bottle.
