Sensational Telenovela Installations

Alex Da Corte's New Show Features the Fruits of His Studies

Alex Da Corte has partnered with Jayson Musson to create a philosophical telenovela installation for Philadelphia's ICA.

Da Corte has invested much of his time perfecting his craft. A perpetual art student, Da Corte studied Film, Animation and Fine Arts at SVA and Printmaking and Fine Arts at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia before going on to obtain his MFA in Sculpture from Yale.

All Da Corte's studying has been put to good use, especially when it comes to his latest collaborative venture. Da Corte and Musson have produced the type of art that makes a unique social commentary on our society's excessive and vulgar tendencies. The preview of the exhibit only reinforces Da Corte's knack for making a statement.
