Asian esports organization Team SMG is partnering with energy drink brand Mate Mate to become the organization’s official energy drink partner. Mate Mate is based in Singapore and currently sells energy drinks in carbonated and powder forms, utilizing its brand-backed mate tea to provide players with herbal benefits.
Known as a popular musician and composer in Asia, JJ Lin created the esports squad Team SMG in 2017. Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and VALORANT are some games in which Team SMG currently has rosters.
“It’s important for our players to stay energised and refreshed during long hours of matches, and we’re thrilled to have Mate Mate to help us achieve that for our Singaporean rosters," said Orrin Xu, General Manager of Team SMG.
