A TARDIS Crash Landing in London Kicks Off Doctor Who Season Eight

There are Doctor Who fans who are always on the lookout for the iconic blue time machine in the sky, but recently rather than looking up, some Londoners were able to witness a TARDIS crash landing in Parliament Square. The promotional stunt was set up to coincide with the launch of the season 8 premiere, as well as generate some interest in the new Twelfth Doctor.

At the faux crash site, the stars of the show Peter Capaldi and Clara Oswald even made an appearance at the site to give it even more credibility. This was a fantastic chance for fans to snap a picture of the TARDIS and the actors. Even though it was sectioned off to prevent people from getting too close, this just adds to the mystery of the Doctor Who universe and made it seem truly authentic.
