Callaly's Tampliner Combines Tampon and Panyliner Products in One Design
Jana Pijak — March 20, 2018 — Lifestyle
Feminine hygiene startup Callaly recently launched a unique 'Tampliner' product that combines the best qualities of traditional tampons and panty liners. The brand successfully fuses the design of both products into one multi-functional, hybrid menstrual care solution.
While using tampons often requires the addition of a liner or light pad in order to ensure absorption, this product's unique all-in-one design ensures secure protection in a simple package that is discreet and compact.
Designed by gynaecologist Alex Hooi alongside garment technologist Ewa Radziwon, this hybrid product aims to give wearers peace of mind without sacrificing comfort. When describing the inspiration behind the product, Hooi states that "I'm proud to lead the development of a product that truly puts women's health first; Tampliners won't leave fibres inside your body and don't contain any dioxins, perfumes or dyes."
