Modular Sushi Fusion Eateries

CasaMaki Sushi Merges Japanese Cuisine With Italian Design

CasaMaki is sushi fusion restaurant located in Italy that features a modular, minimalistic and linear design scheme that blends both Italian and Japanese culture into one chic eatery. The design of the space boasts Italian design and a gourmet eating experience paired with a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese dining booths.

The eatery offers a popular Asian cuisine in the heart of the European nation, with an aesthetic by architectural firm Studio Zero85 that blends both cultures in a seamlessly modern look. Rather than opting for traditionally closed off dining booths popular in Japanese sushi restaurants, Studio Zero85 recreates the frame of the booth using white, green and yellow wiring that keeps the space open, yet still segmented for group dining. The clean cut wood furniture, white plates and grey walls further adds a contemporary aesthetic.
