“Unique” is a great way to describe the Subaru Viziv. The concept car is a Subaru in just about name and engine only. Subaru went outside of its comfort zone when design the Viziv, giving it a sleek and modern look (it has butterfly doors!) not necessarily found among its current models.
The Viziv has two doors, seats four and is powered by a four-cylinder 2.0-liter diesel Boxer engine mated to a CVT. The Subaru Viziv has two powetrains: the front-mounted engine which provides drive and power generation and two rear-mounted electric motors which provide power to the rear wheels.
