The Strap Chair by Scholten & Baijings is a modern twist on the classic outdoor furniture piece. Although the look might not diverge too far from the original design, the seat is much more dynamic. With its rounded edges, flailing arms and contemporary colorway, the Strap Chair would make a welcomed piece for any patio or backyard setting.
Designed for French furniture maker Moustache, the Strap Chair helps the company celebrates its fifth anniversary. According to Design Milk, "The special straps that are wound around the tubular frame are woven in France exclusively for Moustache and create the basket-like seat structure." The Strap Chair is stackable and can be used as easily indoors as outdoors, depending on what people want or need.
