Parachute Unveils a Modern Take on the Sling Chair

Design studio Parachute introduces its new Leather Sling Chair that is made by Founder and CEO Ariel Kaye. To design the furniture piece, she drew inspiration form her personal life and how she enjoys lounging around whilst taking care of her two toddlers.
The chair is meant to withstand the test of time and also provide comfort. It is made by hand and uses sustainably sourced American White Oak Wood and then completes with premium vegetable-tanned Italian leather. It sits low and has a slightly slung and slanted shape to encourage those to sit upright. Notably, the leather that is used to construct the chair will patina into a darker color and stretch out over time.
