eSports Restaurant Cafes

'Storia' by Square Enix is a Destination for Viewing Video Game Contests

'Storia' is the name of a new bar-style restaurant from Square Enix that's set to open soon in the downtown of Tokyo, Japan.

Aside from offering a casual dining experience, the new establishment will be a place that will entice gamers with its "theater cafe" experience. Rather than showing content movies or sport matches on the screens that are scattered throughout the space, Square Enix will be broadcasting gameplay from video games, including ones that come from other video game publishers.

While there are dozens of dedicated eSports events that are extremely popular around the world, this type of dining establishment introduces an entirely new way for gamers to immerse themselves into the world of video game entertainment.
