Stills Flagship Store by Doepel Strijkers Features Elaborate Lattices

Dutch design studio Doepel Strijkers has created this intriguing space for the Stills flagship store in Amsterdam.

An elaborate maze of lattices, made of wood and painted all in white, makes up the Stills flagship store displays. Clothes and accessories are placed on, and hung from, this intricate grid system, which covers almost every inch of the store, creating an unparalleled boutique experience that I'm sure no customer will be able to forget. The designers have also randomly placed clear glass displays for folded apparel, and installed dressed mannequins in such a way as to look as if they are actually climbing the lattice framework.

As the designers at Doepel Strijkers describe, "Dressing rooms, lighting and all possible options for presentation are integrated into the volume, so clothing, shoes, bags, books and mannequins form the visual specification of the continuous structure."
