Sonic is Serving Up Two Deep-Fried Treats with a Side of Ice Cream

Hot on the heels of Burger King's new Funnel Cake Fries, Sonic has debuted two new state fair-inspired desserts. With these tasty new treats, you'll have all the deep-fried deliciousness you need to hold you over until this summer's state fairs.

For a limited time, Sonic is now offering Oreo A La Mode and Cinnabon Cinnasnacks A La Mode desserts.The former consists of an Oreo dunked in batter and deep fried until golden brown. The latter consists of warm, flakey pastries stuffed with a sweet cinnamon roll filling. Both state fair-inspired desserts are then served with a side of Sonic’s real ice cream for dipping. As Sonic's Vice President of Product Innovation and Development Scott Uehlein explains, the new treats combine "the richness of your favorite warm dessert with the refreshing creaminess of ice cream."
