Bacardi's 'The Sound of Rum' Explores the Reach of Caribbean Music

In partnership with Major Lazer, Bacardi produced a four-part music documentary called 'The Sound of Rum' that explores the influence Caribbean music has had around the world. Some of the genres that are spotlighted through the documentary include reggae, dancehall and afrobeats, as well as others that have been fused with other modern styles.

The first part of the documentary offers a look into the Crop Over Caribbean carnival, as well as the Notting Hill Carnival in Europe. As the other parts of the documentary are periodically released, fans can expect to see appearances from Major Lazer, Sean Paul, Chase & Status and other artists who have played a part in shaping global music culture.
