Nike Collaborates with Creatives on 'Football Korobka'

With the 2018 FIFA World Cup soon underway, the release of soccer collections has been on the rise. From referee-oriented smartwatches and formation-themed jewelry to soccer ball-inspired luxe handbags and high-performance activewear, 'Football Korobka' is yet another capsule to inject into the line up of sport-themed merchandise.
Nike taps into a number of designers like Dmitriy Oskes, Vsevikid Cherepanov, DJ CYBER69, Moscow-based store BELIEF and more. As far as soccer collections go, this Russia-themed capsule is a first for Nike. The offerings celebrate "the raw expression of the sport by looking at the Korobka streetball courts," and each collaborative piece is the designer's personal account of soccer. The capsule is set to launch on June 15th, in conjunction with the 2018 FIFA World Cup at Nike's Moscow Flagship Store and its retail partners.
