From June 6th to 10th 2016, Toronto will host SMWi Toronto, joining major cities around the world with an independent Social Media Week event dedicated to digital technology and the social realm.
On June 7th, SMWi Toronto 2016 will feature a keynote from Trend Hunter President Shelby Walsh, who will be speaking on Creating a Cultural Connection: The Three Ways Marketing is Changing. Shelby will dive into hot topics like mobile marketing, personalization, big data and share case studies on brands that have made the most of Tinder, Snapchat, Facebook and more for marketing. With increased worldwide usage of mobile devices, it has become vital for brands to tell their stories and connect with ultra-savvy new consumer generations.
SMWi Toronto 2016 will give attendees the chance to hear from other leaders in their fields like Toronto City Council member and Twitter sensation Norm Kelly, BuzzFeed Canada's Social Media Editor Elamin Abdelmahmoud and digital media expert and futurist Jesse Brown.
This is an event that marketing executives, technology entrepreneurs, new media publishers and social media influencers will not want to miss.
