The smartphone revolution has managed to impact all corners of technology, so it's no surprise that designer Dennis Cheng visualizes the future of transportation as a vehicle that looks more like a smartphone on wheels, than a family car.
Described as a "deformable" vehicle, this conceptual design promises to adapt to the modern family's ever-changing needs. The modular trunk space can extend for extra storage, while the interior can expand, creating an additional seat when necessary. Not surprisingly, the car is equipped with large, interactive screens to keep the kids entertained, while providing the adults with valuable real-time weather and traffic updates.
This smartphone on wheels predicts the future family as one that relies heavily on the convenience of interface technology and modular design.
