In recent months, fast food fans have been treated to a number of innovations and marketing stunts centered around the drive-thru experience and Taco Bell Canada is now opening what it calls the first-ever 'Slide-Thru.'
At the Horseshoe Resort near Barrie, Ontario, Taco Bell fans will be able to place their order at the top of a tubing hill, proceed to slide down the hill and pick up their order from a custom-built take-out window at the bottom of the slope. Taco Bell devised this fun-filled way for people to pick up a meal to promote the return of its Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider, which is exclusive to Canada. As Taco Bell Canada's head of marketing Veronica Castillo describes, “This fan-favorite deserves a celebration that’s as audacious as the Crunchwrap itself, something wild and unexpected and has never been tried before.”
