Software-Only Sleep Optimization Platforms

CircadiaOS Connects Wearable Sleep Data and Thermostats

CircadiaOS, a company founded by three health-focused entrepreneurs, has launched a software-only sleep optimization platform for iOS that connects wearable sleep data from devices with compatible smart thermostats. Technologies that can be paired with this innovation are Apple Watch, Oura, WHOOP, Garmin, and Fitbit on the iOS side and Nest, Ecobee, and Honeywell on the thermostat side. Ultimately, the goal is to make personalized sleep thermoregulation more accessible.

CircadiaOS's software-only sleep optimization platform enables personalized overnight temperature schedules without requiring users to purchase additional sleep hardware. The platform begins with a calibration period to establish a baseline for each user's sleep patterns, then tests controlled temperature adjustments and evaluates changes in metrics such as sleep efficiency, heart rate variability, REM sleep, total sleep time, and nighttime awakenings to determine how different temperature patterns affect an individual's rest.
