Taiwanese sleep solutions provider Song Beam Bedding has introduced a novel approach to addressing sleep disorders through its Medical-Grade Herbal Anti-Anxiety Sleep Series. This innovation features bedding coated with Cannabidiol, or CBD. The claims of this product have been recently clinically validated in a joint study with China Medical University, which was published in the journal Healthcare
The core innovation behind Song Beam Bedding's Medical-Grade Herbal Anti-Anxiety Sleep Series lies in the company's proprietary Belgian microcapsule extraction technology, which embeds hemp-derived CBD into tiny capsules woven directly into the fabric fibers of products like pillow covers, mattress protectors, and sleep masks. When a user moves during sleep, the friction and pressure gently rupture these microcapsules, releasing minuscule, continuous amounts of CBD that are absorbed through the skin.
The clinical trial specifically focused on shift-working nurses, a population notoriously prone to sleep disturbances, and tracked their progress over four weeks.
