SKINNYPIZZA is Now Packaging Its Approach to Healthy Italian Dining

SKINNYPIZZA offers a healthier take on traditional Italian food through a fast-casual dining experience and now, it is launching frozen pizza products to be sold in supermarkets.

The SKINNYPIZZAs are launching in Mozzarella & Provolone Cheese, Uncured Pepperoni and Gluten-Free Cheese varieties, with a focus on clean-label ingredients. As the brand notes, "SKINNYPIZZA is now available right next to the top selling brand pizzas. Consumers now have the option to select pizza that contain artificial ingredients (Potassium Bromate; an ingredient banned in most countries.)" The clean and simple frozen pizzas are made with ingredients like wheat flour, all-natural part-skim mozzarella and organic tomatoes, as well as nitrite- and nitrate-free meats.

Although the frozen food aisle used to be seen as a place for only unhealthy meal options, many brands have helped to change consumer perceptions by offering nourishing, better-for-you choices.
