Artist Peter Deligdisch creates stunning skeleton art using the remains of various animals. Deligdisch's art portfolio is mostly made up of elaborate illustrations, and this decorative animal skull collection combines those intricate designs with unusual canvases that easily attract attention. Deligdisch turns death and decay into something beautiful with his skeleton art.
Many of these pieces have twisted antlers attached to them which makes them seem all the more enchanting. Some of the animals who's skulls went into this eerily intriguing art project include red foxes, white tail deer and bison.
These illustration-covered skulls command attention even more so than standard taxidermy creations. Though these decorated skulls might seem a little morbid, they give departed animals a second life as works of art.
