Mount Gay has introduced the second edition of its Single Estate Series, building upon a range with a blend of rums produced from sugar cane harvested in Barbados and crafted using 100% molasses. The refinement of this rum is accrued through a lengthy "nine-day fermentation process, the rum develops a complex profile with distinctive Barbadian characteristics."

Moving from the production to the tasting experience, the rum presents a "light golden color, while its nose reveals bold aromas of citrus and sweet fruits, including grapefruit, plums, and banana, alongside subtle hints of spice, almonds, sea salt, and milk chocolate while flavors of brown sugar, oak, and grapefruit emerge, enhanced by floral notes and a smoky saltiness." Moreover, this second edition exemplifies Mount Gay’s commitment to creating rums that celebrate the unique qualities of their estate-grown ingredients.
