Coconut-Inspired Premium Rums

Brugal Debuts Edición 03, Coconut for Its Colección Visionaria Line

Brugal has officially concluded its limited-edition Colección Visionaria series with the release of Edición 03, Coconut. This marks the final chapter of a trilogy that explores the cultural and sensory richness of the Dominican Republic through the lens of innovative rum-making.

Brugal's ultra-premium offering is the work of fifth-generation Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva Quintana, who applies her signature Aromatic Cask Toasting technique to French oak barrels using Dominican coconuts. The fruit was chosen specifically for its deep cultural resonance as a symbol of the island's rhythm, economy, and daily life. The resulting spirit presents a bright amber gold color and a complex olfactory profile that marries creamy vanilla and burnt sugar with hints of coconut water, sweet lemon, toasted smokiness, and subtle wood spice.
