Mount Gay Debuts the Fourth Installment in Its Single Estate Series

The latest installment of Mount Gay's Single Estate Series is a limited-production rum designated as 25_04_Vt19dp. This expression is distinctive for being produced entirely from sugar cane harvested in 2019 from the distillery's own estate in Barbados.

The production process for this limited-edition rum is vertically integrated, meaning the company controls the cultivation of the cane through to the distillation and aging of the spirit. The rum is a blend of two separate distillations from copper pot stills and has been aged for five years in barrels previously used for bourbon.

For the packaging, Mount Gay incorporates recycled materials and utilizes a QR code to provide detailed product information digitally. With a total of fewer than three thousand bottles available globally and a relatively high alcohol content, the latest addition to the Single Estate Series is sure to capture attention.
