Ron del Barrilito Debuts a Second Expression of its Pedro Fernández Selection

Ron del Barrilito, a Puerto Rican rum brand, has launched the second edition of its Pedro Fernández Selection, with the Pedro Fernández Selection II following the success of its first release. This new expression offers rum enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to taste "a 27-year-old rum that has been aging since October 3, 1997."

This release coincides with the 145th anniversary of the creation of Ron del Barrilito Three Stars by Don Pedro Fernández. Moreover, the rum has "been aged in an oloroso sherry barrel, which contributes to its smooth flavor, fruity sweetness, reddish hue, and woody aroma." These characteristics are the result of a meticulous aging process, combined with the use of collected and filtered rainwater, a unique feature of Hacienda Santa Ana that distinguishes it from other rum producers.
