Puerto Rican Heritage-Celebrating Whiskeys

Fincasa Whiskey Just Released Batch 003

Fincasa Whiskey's latest release — Batch 003 — pays homage to Puerto Rican heritage. The spirits represent a distinctive fusion of culture and artisanal whiskey craftsmanship by blending traditional rye whiskey production with Caribbean rum cask finishing to create a spirit that honors the founder's roots.

This small-batch offering begins with a high-rye mash bill — 95% rye/5% malted barley — sourced from MGP in Indiana. The expression undergoes an extended 13-month secondary aging process in Puerto Rican rum barrels. The resulting flavor profile showcases layered complexity that balances rye's characteristic spice with rum-influenced notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and tropical undertones, all bottled at a robust 100 proof.

Beyond its liquid attributes, Batch 003's packaging incorporates familial and historical elements through census-inspired labels and vintage medicinal bottle styling.
