Cask-Strength American Rums

Mainland Rum Enters the Premium Spirits Market

Mainland Rum brings to the premium spirits market a distinctive proposition — single-barrel, cask-strength American rums that challenge conventional perceptions of the category.

Mainland Rum's inaugural lineup showcases five limited-edition expressions that were aged seven to ten years. These spirits were sourced from defunct and operating distilleries across Florida, Georgia, California, and Louisiana. Each bottling emphasizes unadulterated character — there are no additives, dilution, or blending, with proofs ranging from 113.6 to an intense 161. The selection highlights regional diversity, from a sherry-cask-finished Florida rum with berry notes to a pot-still Louisiana expression offering umami depth.

According to Mainland Rum founder Seth Benhaim, who is known for disruptive ventures like Broken Barrel Whiskey, stated: "American Rum deserves the same reverence we’ve given to great whiskey and Caribbean can. Mainland is our answer to that. A fine rum project rooted in authenticity and discovery."
