Studio Badini Createam and Selab collaborated for the development of a three piece furniture set for Seletti, referencing classical furniture and painting, with a contemporary twist.
The tall wardrobe, two drawer and three drawer chests from the 'Trip Pixel' series are gorgeously made from wood and MDF, but what gives these pieces some modern appeal is the images of a woman's face that have been superimposed onto the furniture pieces. In keeping with the dark tones of the wood, the image of the woman is also dark and romantic and it seems she may once have been part of a Renaissance painting.
Each item is in the range of about $1,000 - $2,500 and definitely make for strong statement pieces.
