FreelingWaters Nods to the 70s for Inspo with its Collection III

Dutch design label FreelingWaters introduces its new Collection III, which is made up of hand-painted pieces that are adorned in psychedelic patterns. These are created for The Future Perfect, a design gallery in New York. Notably, all of the pieces are true to the studio's aesthetic and have an antique look.
The cabinets are functional and stripped back before it is adorned in stark paint that forms psychedelic patterns. The design is rooted in maximalism with bold emblems printed on both the inside and outside of the pieces. There are six cabinets in total and have pigments that blend together casein glue with an acrylic binder in order to create a surface with zero shine and a matte coat.
