Wearable company Lumo has already put out products that help you get rid of bad posture, so it only made good sense for it to now focus on a pair of running shorts that help runners maintain proper form on the go in order to avoid injury and improve performance.

The Lumo Run shorts are equipped with a tiny plastic component on the waistband that is designed to monitor your biomechanical activity as you run. This means it is capable of monitoring your cadence, stride length and pelvic rotation.

As you run, the Lumo Run running shorts' companion app will convey detailed stats to your smartphone on everything from how long your feet are touching the ground to how you brake and bounce. The software can also offer audio coaching to give you advice on the fly to improve your technique, thereby reducing your chance of injury and improving your performance.
