This Christmas, consumers can put an end to wasted paper thanks to French-designed reusable gift wrap, DONO. The geometrically folded wrapping paper acts like individual gift bags for holiday items. With a draw string on one end, giftees need not extravagantly rip apart the beautifully crafted paper. Instead, the DONO paper is preserved so that recipients not only receive a lovely present, but new wrapping paper for their own gift-giving as well.
Inspired by origami, the designs are timeless and come in solid colors so that they can be reused for all events including birthdays, Christmas and Valentine's Day. The reusable gift wrap is also made of recycled paper to start with, making it truly sustainable. Finally, a long gift tag is attached to each paper, promoting others to forward along the wrapping paper and participate in the shared environmental effort.
