Taking inspiration from both the sound of today, and the visuals of the 1970s, Cameron Davis created this retro nostalgic editorial starring Paulina Murchie.
Davis explains, “I was listening to Tanlines one day and as I was listening to their music I was also going through some old Playboy Magazines I had and it just hit me. I had to somehow combine my sense of music and photography with that era of the 70?s that had been lost."
Recovering a "lost" or past decade is a large undertaking, but Murchie was the perfect candidate with which to try and do so. Whether giving the camera a brazen head-on stare, or demure peek over the shoulder, she effortlessly channels Playboy's heyday era of sensuality and sex appeal.
