ALDI is Trialling Milk Bottles with Clear Caps in the UK

ALDI has announced new trial of its even more recyclable milk packaging to make it easier for consumers to more sustainably dispose of it after use.
The packaging trial includes clear caps on the brand's British Semi Skimmed Standard Milk, which replace the conventional green caps. The trial is being run through a partnership with milk supplier Müller and will introduced later this month at store locations in Manchester, Cheshire and Liverpool. The brand has announced it's on track to have 50% of its plastic packaging crafted with recycled materials by 2025.
Plastics and Packaging Director at ALDI Richard Gorman commented on the recyclable milk packaging update saying, "We know it’s becoming increasingly important to our customers that their everyday products are environmentally friendly. By trialling clear milk caps, we are making our milk bottles easier to recycle, so they can be turned back into new packaging.”
