ALDI is Rolling Out New Toothbrush Packaging in the UK

ALDI has announced new toothbrush packaging for its Dentitex Soft and Whitening toothbrushes in a bid to prioritize recycling, while also cutting down on plastic packaging use. The packaging update is reported by the brand to remove around 17 tonnes of plastic packaging from the industry each year and is also recyclable by consumers from their home without having to perform any separation. The oral care packaging update is part of the brand's continued effort to incorporate alternative packaging for its private label products to help reduce its overall environmental impact.

Plastics and Packaging Director Luke Emery spoke on the updated toothbrush packaging saying, "Reducing plastic is a huge priority for us at Aldi, and we know how important it is to our customers too. We are continuously looking for innovative ways to modify our packaging, and making this change on our toothbrushes is another step forward in our ongoing work to remove plastic where possible.”
