Reducing or eliminating plastic packaging has become a top priority with many brands, which is evident with the news of Bonds of London introducing new reduced plastic packaging across its entire children's candy bags.
The announcement comes as part of the brand's shift towards more environmentally focused packaging that requires less material to be achieved, while also not affecting the amount of candy within. The packaging announcement comes alongside the introduction of some new candy flavors including Cherry Pencils and the Dolly Mix Classic and the Jelly Monkeys and Bananas, amongst others.
Chris Smith of Bonds Confectionery spoke on the new reduced plastic packaging saying, "We are really excited about the new advancements in the Bonds kids range. Not only are they introducing lots of exciting new product lines but they are revolutionising all kids’ sweet bags packaging to be more environmentally friendly and attractive for customers. The new products are really exciting as they bring in so many new flavours and appeal to a huge audience. There really is something for everyone, whether you love chocolatey, gummy or fizzy confectionery.”
