Starbucks is expanding its portable meal options with the addition of its new Southwest-Style Steak Wrap. In recent years, the chain has been adding a number of gourmet food items to its menu in an effort to compete with other quick service restaurants. The latest menu addition gives consumers a hearty option when it comes to grabbing a bite on the go.
The new Southwest-Style Steak Wrap joins Starbucks' existing Bistro Box selection. The new dish consists of grilled fajita steak covered in chimichurri sauce and wrapped in a sweet potato tortilla. In addition to the strips of steak, the wrap also include jicama, peppers, fire-roasted corn, lettuce and a savory black bean spread. The wrap even comes with blue corn chips and a spicy chipotle sauce on the side.
The new menu item demonstrates Starbucks' continued effort to expand its existing line of portable meal options.
