These playground-oriented furniture pieces mimic the retro video game Tetris. The lightweight blocks are fun for kids and adults. This collection of furniture was created by Open Code Urban Furniture.
Public spaces aren't always easily shared by adults and children, but this new furniture collections seeks to void the gap here. An interactive series of workshops in various neighborhoods incorporate the local residents in various scenarios on how to play and learn using the playground-oriented furniture pieces.
By working together as kids and adults, the furniture is used in more than just a functional way. Public spaces are meant to be shared and through interactive games of logic and teamwork, the creative director of the project, Jekaterina Lavrinec, hopes to increase neighborhood energy and communication.
