Eco-Urban Replicas

Bang-Yao Liu's 'Plastic City' is Modeled After Shanghai

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the skyline of Shanghai, you can now get a feel for the landscape as Plastic City is modeled after this Chinese metropolis. A rather colorful eco-conscious project, it was made using only cheap, plastic materials such as bins, baskets, brooms and more.

Created by artist Bang-Yao Liu, Plastic City was commissioned by Converse for an artist series. Check out the Taiwanese artist at work in the stop motion video.
