People put all kinds of things on french fries, from gravy and cheese curds to chicken pot pie ingredients and now pepperoni and cheese, creating pizza fries. At the Carl's Jr. restaurant in Anaheim, California, the fast food chain is testing Pepperoni Pizza Fries. The potatoes are covered with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni and are served in their usual chili cheese packaging.
It is unclear if Carl's Jr. is testing this new item at any of their other locations at this time. Proven to be the real deal (and not an April Fool's Day joke), the exiting new side can be found on promotional material on the drive-thru menu. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth checking out as soon as possible.
