This season, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are serving up comfort food with the debut of the new Chili Cheese Star burger and Chili Cheese Fries.
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s recently began testing a new Chili lineup, which consists of several items featuring the chain's thick and hearty chili. The chili is made from a classic blend of ground beef, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and chilis, along with a signature blend of spices.
The new chili is currently the star ingredient in two tasty dishes. The Chili Cheese Star features a charbroiled burger patty topped with chili, American cheese, crispy onions rings, and mustard, all on a sesame seed bun. The Double Chili Cheese Star features the same ingredients with one extra burger patty. Finally, the Chili Cheese Fries feature the chain's signature French fries topped with chili and shredded cheese.
